Civil Service Strollers FC

A draw against Spartans in the North Edinburgh Derby left the Strollers feeling disappointed after surrendering a 2-1 advantage in the 91st minute to a penalty giving Spartans a share of the spoils. However on a brighter note the 80s night proved a great success, well done Dickson on organising a superb night. 

Strollers earned a hard fought draw last night against Edinburgh University with the score 0-0 it was a good performance from the players after last weeks defeat at the hands of East Stirlingshire and good to keep a clean sheet. The one downer was an injury to Robbie Laird who suffered a concussion and had to spend the night in hospital, wishing you a speedy recovery Robbie.

Strollers completed their pre season games with a 4-2 victory over East of Scotland side Burntisland Shipyard.

Now looking forward to our final training session on Thursday before our first season in the Lowland League Kicks off Saturday 3pm at home to Hawick Royal Albert.

The ethos of The Club is to ensure that all who play enjoy the game as a sport. To merge competitive spirit,skill and fair play to bring the best out of the game.

The senior team play in the Scottish Lowland Football League and are members of the East of Scotland Association and also qualify to play in the Scottish Cup.

We have Two amateur teams playing in the Lothian and Edinburgh Amateur leagues. One on a Saturday and One on a Sunday.
